Sono nato e vivo a Budrio in provincia di Bologna.
Il mio interesse per la fotografia si è manifestato fin da ragazzo, per diversi anni mi sono dedicato pricipalmente al bianconero,attratto dall'esperienza di grandi autori, Ansel Adams e Irwing Penn. Negli anni successivi, ho accantonato tale esperienza assecondando altri interessi iconografici, ma con l'avvento del digitale, la fascinazione per il mondo delle immagini è immediatamente riaffiorata, consentendomi di approfondire le grandi potenzialità connesse a questo nuovo modo di interpretare la fotografia: ho ricominciato a scattare e a saggiare varie tecniche, e da qui si è sviluppata l'esigenza di confrontarmi e scambiare opinioni con altre persone coinvolte nella mia stessa passione.
"Il mezzo fotografico si presenta come strumento di certificazione del reale e allo stesso tempo viene usato per incarnare un sogno ad occhi aperti che, in quanto fotografato, lascia la sua traccia concettuale".
In questo inciso ho trovato il giusto sentire tra me ed Elena Zuccheri, con la quale da quest'anno è sorta un'importante collaborazione: le mie rappresentazioni , le sue parole, la comune necessità di appagare l'appetito di scoprire. Nella sua figura inoltre ho colto l'interpretazione e le movenze adatte per nuovi orizzonti di attività: Elena è la performer degli scatti di "LEGAMI", "RAPSODIA" e "SMATERIALIZZARSI"
Parallelamente sto sperimentando la scultura come pratica per esprimere, creando "dalla polvere e dal fango", forme per riallineare la percezione del mondo.

I was born and I still live in Budrio, a small village near Bologna. Since I was young I have had a strong passion for photography. For many years, I mainly worked in black and white, inspired by the works of great photographers like Ansel Adams and Irwing Penn. In the following years, I left this experience behind to move on to other iconographic projects. However, with the arrival of the digital age my interest in images immediately resurfaced, and it allowed me to increase the many possibilities related to this new way of interpreting photography. I started taking photos again and tried out different kinds of techniques. and from this point, I felt the need to compare and exchange opinions with other people who shared the same passion.
"Photography is an instrument which documents reality and at the same time it is used to embody a daydream which, through the photo, leaves a conceptual trail".
In this comment I found a connection with Elena Zuccheri: with whom I have started a kind of collaboration this year. My images, her words, the same need to satisfy a hunger for discovery. Furthermore, in her I found the interpretation and movements which have allowed me to reach new horizons in my work. Elena is the performer of the "Bonds", "Rhapsody" and "Dematerialize" shootings.
At the same time I have been experimenting with sculpture as a means of expression, creating form out of dust and mud, to realign my perception of the world.
